I recently read in an article that it is not the cooking that stresses mothers out, it is the trying to figure out what to cook that does. I can see that so my question is, why don't we have more Websites telling us what to cook or maybe e-mail recipes every day? Is there a place where I can sign up that tells me on Monday morning what to shop for in order to cook all meals all week, along with the recipes for every day. Even better would be if this site could see what is on sale at my local grocery store and then plan a weekly menu with the items that are on sale. I only shop once a week so this would have to include everything for the week. Of course it couldn't just be processed food and should include some of our garden vegetable during the Summer and some homemade canned goods for the Winter. Preferably it would take my children's tastes into consideration and plan meals with at least a couple of items for each child that they like. Maybe some ideas how to creatively arrange it would be good too. If there is someone wanting to help cook would even be better yet. Well I just realized what I am looking for is not someone to help me with my shopping or cooking, it is a mother. Mothers do it all and don't get paid for it. I'll just continue to do it all and be happy to be a mother.
I had a great workout the other day with my toddler on my back for several hours cleaning the house. I could tell in my legs that I need to do a little more weight lifting. I better find the dumbbells to start doing some real exercise . I think my cow might have borrowed them, she always has strong legs and can jump any fence, even the cattle panels. She doesn't quite jump them, just plows them over. I guess tomorrow will be a good day to start lifting weights, something I've been saying many tomorrows. I do have some German chocolate to work off. My nephew had this tiny suitcase and half of it was filled with the yummiest creamiest German chocolate. Not sure if he was wearing 10 outfits or if he was really able to fit the chocolate and his clothes into this tiny suitcase. Whatever he fit in there coming here, we did get him a couple of real size suitcases for his way back. He'll need them, he likes shopping as probably most teenagers do.
What can you do with a simple wrap when you have a feverish child and a list of things to do? Yeap, you guessed it. My 3 year old spend the morning on my back in the NeverFail Backwrap while I did dishes and laundry along with some sweeping. My oldest daughter read "Anne of Ingleside" from the Anne of Green Gables series to the rest of the children. Our 8 month old was happy exploring everything around along with practicing his walking. He still loves being in a warp but not live in it anymore like he has been for the first few month of his life. Quite the change for my 3 year old to be sitting still and wanting to be held at all times. He is usually the one climbing on everything and never falling. His sense of balance is incredible but then again that is quite normal for a baby who has been worn for a couple of years. Thanks to Viburcol he is able to gain some strengths and will soon be entertaining us again. We've heard from the factory making the deluxe Suse's Kinder coat. It will by far be the most versatile coat on the market and a great deal at such. All those with ring slings should be excited for this will make hip carrying easy and fast. Another bird in our wood stove wants to get out. Not sure why the birds keep tumbling into the chimney although there is a bird guard on it. Might have to redesign the bird guard and manufacture that since it doesn't help a bit. The children will be excited to have another bird do his rounds in our living room before we can get him outside again. By then hopefully our calf Moooooody will be back. He is an escape artist. Our animals get into more trouble than our children ever do, sure helps us to keep a perspective on life. What fun it is to experience it all!
